Job summary

TEGNA Inc. in Dallas seeks a Systems IT Specialist to integrate, maintain, and support broadcast IT systems and related desktop services. Reporting to the Supervisor of Technology & Operations, you will work with teams across Technology, Sales, News, and IT support to keep 24x7 operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include server and network troubleshooting, security management, and documentation. Some weekend or overnight shifts may be required to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Computer Science or IT related degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Solid understanding of hardware, network technologies, and Microsoft’s Active Directory environment.
• Experience with or knowledge of Windows OS, AD, Group Policy, Bomgar and ServiceNow in a complex LAN/WAN.
• Familiarity with media tech like ENPS and Bitcentral Oasis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of broadcast IT systems, software, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair servers, software, peripherals, and network components.
• Ensure security, patching, and access rights across systems.
• Create and maintain system and wiring documentation.
