Job summary

TEGNA Inc. is seeking an Operations Analyst to own incident triage and support for broadcast and digital platforms in a remote-first, distributed IT team. You will triage incidents, automate repetitive tasks, and improve monitoring and runbooks across enterprise systems.

The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, proactive monitoring, and documentation to reduce repeat tickets and enhance service reliability.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in operations or advanced helpdesk roles supporting enterprise apps and 24x7 operations.
• Experience supporting broadcast, media, or digital workflows; cloud/hybrid environments a plus.
• Strong ITIL knowledge; experience with incident/problem management and ServiceNow.
• Hands-on automation/scripting with PowerShell or Python to improve efficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple tickets/incidents simultaneously, with remote/global teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to document issues and resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and triage support tickets from intake to resolution in ServiceNow.
• Provide proactive monitoring and support for critical broadcast and streaming systems; respond to alerts.
• Analyze, resolve, and document incidents; build runbooks and knowledge articles.
• Create, maintain, and improve operational documentation and self-service resources.
• Collaborate with a globally distributed, remote-first team; support follow-the-sun model.
