Job summary

Disney's KABC (ABC7) in Glendale, CA offers an internship for students to join the technical team and gain hands-on experience in a broadcast technology environment.

You will network, deploy and troubleshoot computer hardware and software; assist with preventative maintenance, broadcast automation, and IP transmission systems; support help desk requests and participate in remote productions such as remote newscasts and parades.

Qualifications

• Experience in television, technology and/or IT processes with problem solving.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Operating Systems.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must hold a valid U.S. driver's license and be able to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Network, deploy and troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
• Work on preventative maintenance, broadcast automation systems, and IP transmission systems.
• Provide resolution and troubleshooting for help desk requests.
• Install systems for a variety of technology at the station.
• Work on remote productions including remote newscasts and live community parades.
