Equiliem in New York, NY seeks a Senior Financial Analyst for Broadcast Operations to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business management for multiple broadcast programs. This onsite role requires strong modeling and collaboration with production leaders.

You will partner with executive producers and production teams, build financial models, analyze large datasets, and deliver actionable insights to drive decision-making.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of financial analysis experience.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion, SmartView, EDMCS or similar platforms.
• Power BI experience preferred.
• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain recurring financial reporting cycles across multiple broadcast programs.
• Partner with finance and business leaders to evaluate and manage budgets.
• Support the preparation, review, and consolidation of annual operating budgets and long-range financial plans.
• Develop monthly forecasts and monitor financial performance against budget.
• Analyze actual costs and prepare variance analysis and budget-to-actual commentary for leadership.
• Track costs and budget performance at the story, segment, show, and portfolio levels.
• Identify budget overruns and communicate financial risks to appropriate stakeholders.
• Support segment-level budgeting and financial planning.
• Identify and correct miscoded expenses and maintain data integrity.
• Build and maintain financial models, reports, and presentations.
• Analyze large datasets and translate financial results into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Support the development and implementation of new financial reporting processes and systems.
• Assist with financial system transformation and reporting improvements.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as needed.
• Partner with executive producers and other stakeholders to help translate financial information into actionable business strategies.
• Use appropriate technology and AI tools to improve analysis, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
