Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance Admin team in New York. The role focuses on owning key reporting processes, workforce analytics, budgeting and forecasting, and delivering insights for senior management.

You will develop financial models, partner with Corporate Accounting, and support finance transformation projects while driving process improvements across the Finance Admin function.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of work experience in FP&A, business partnering or similar roles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present work succinctly to senior management.
• Detail oriented with the ability to learn financial and operational processes.
• Experience manipulating large datasets and creating data tables and models in Excel or similar tools.
• Collaborative approach to working with teams across the organization to develop solutions.
• Proactive in identifying improvements to processes and reports.
• Experience with AI and Microsoft products, particularly Excel, plus SAP, SAC or Alteryx.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and variance analysis for key finance departments.
• Own detailed processes and reporting for workforce management and headcount analytics.
• Contribute to forecasting and budgeting for areas within Finance Admin.
• Develop and maintain financial models to drive insights and recommendations.
• Interact with senior management to support monthly reporting and variance analysis.
• Assist finance transformation projects to streamline reporting and data architecture.
