Job summary

Evertz Microsystems Limited is seeking an experienced Broadcast Engineer to support and maintain advanced broadcast video systems. You will report to the Senior Manager of the Technical Operations Centre and act as an expert advisor on complex initiatives.

Your role involves monitoring systems, ensuring incident resolution per SLAs, and coordinating with engineers and customers to deliver project outcomes. Relocation to California will be required for long-term on-site support.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Degree on broadcast tech preferred.
• Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows installations, upgrades, troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, priority-driven environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Act as expert-level advisor on broadcast initiatives.
• Monitor systems, verify hardware and server resources, review logs.
• Ensure incidents are managed to resolution per SLA guidelines.
• Serve as single point of contact for multiple support cases.
• Provide feedback on design specifications and operational guidelines.
• Coordinate with other departments and customers to deliver projects.
• Define testing requirements to validate platforms or systems.
• Document procedures and processes.
