Job summary

Evertz Microsystems (TSX: ET) is seeking a skilled Broadcast Engineer to join our growing Technical Operations Centre. You will provide expert-level support for cutting-edge broadcast video systems, collaborating with engineering teams and customers to ensure optimal performance.

Relocation to California for long‑term on‑site support is required. The ideal candidate has Unix/Linux and Windows experience, strong problem‑solving and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of installations, upgrades and troubleshooting in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated with initiative; able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willing to relocate to California for long-term on-site support.
• Technical Diploma/Degree or equivalent broadcast experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as expert level advisor on complex broadcast initiatives.
• Monitor systems; verify broadcast hardware, server resources and logs.
• Ensure incidents are closed per SLA; manage events to resolution.
• Serve as single point of contact for multiple support cases.
• Provide feedback on solution requirements and operational guidelines.
• Coordinate with peers and customers to deliver project outcomes.
• Establish testing requirements to evaluate designs and validate platforms.
• Document departmental and technical procedures.
