Job summary

Harvey is building an in-house media production capability, and this is the engineering role at the center of it. The Broadcast Engineer will own the technical foundation of how Harvey captures, routes, and delivers video and audio — the studio and control room infrastructure, the IP signal fabric connecting our spaces, and the live execution of the company’s most visible events.

Today that work blends live shows with scalable platform development, and you will split your time between running

Qualifications

  • 7+ years hands-on broadcast or high-end corporate production experience.
  • Deep command of video/audio signal flow: SDI/HDMI, embedding, genlock, timing.
  • Production experience with Dante and NDI workflows, with clocking, multicast, QoS.
  • Knowledge of color science: color spaces, LUTs, camera matching, monitor calibration.
  • Proven ability to run live, high-stakes events with rehearsal, show call, and incident response.
  • Strong documentation skills: runbooks, diagrams, and clear explanations to execs.
  • Experience with a fast-growing, multi-office company is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Harvey’s video and audio infrastructure and own standards.
  • Architect audio-over-IP and video-over-IP transport with Dante and NDI.
  • Own technical execution for high-visibility productions from design to post-event.
  • Establish color and audio standards across the production chain.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex signal-flow and network faults under live conditions.
  • Evaluate new production systems and manage integrators and vendors through testing.
