Job summary

BallyCara is hiring qualified Support Workers to join our Support at Home team, helping older Australians stay independent and connected in their own homes. You’ll be a trusted weekly presence, enabling clients to live life on their terms across Brisbane suburbs.

Expect 9am–12pm, 4–5 days per week with Thursday/Friday availability; 7am–2pm windows may apply. You’ll travel between clients, build relationships and contribute to meaningful, community‑based care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Community).
• Previous experience in community or aged care support.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and mobility assistance.
• Prepare meals and provide domestic support.
• Accompany clients shopping or on community outings.
• Provide transport to appointments (kms paid).
• Support clients to remain socially connected.
• Help clients achieve personal goals.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with clients and families.
• Work closely with the care team to deliver safe, high‑quality support.
