Job summary

Beaver Excavating Company seeks a Bridges/Structures Foreman to organize and direct on-site crew work at various construction sites across Ohio, with daily and overnight travel as needed. You will enforce safety policies, ensure quality, and coordinate with superintendents to optimize manpower, materials, and subcontractors.

Key qualifications include a HS diploma, OSHA-30, First Aid/CPR, Competent Person training, and 5–8 years in similar bridge/construction roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 30 Hour OSHA certification.
• First aid/CPR certification.
• Competent Person training.
• 5-8 years of experience in bridge/construction.
• Prior crew and subcontractor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes 2 week look-ahead to plan work with Superintendents.
• Enforces company safety policies.
• Conducts daily JSA and educates crews on hazards.
• Provides oversight to crews and subcontractors.
• Prepares schedules for manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Ensures quality of work performed by crews.
• Works with senior foremen and Superintendents on short interval schedules.
• Completes daily timesheets and field reports.
• Monitors crew productivity and leads by example.
• Inspects incoming materials for quality and contract compliance.
• Collaborates with management, safety, and other personnel.
