Job summary

Gpac is seeking an experienced Bridge Foreman to lead a small crew on bridge projects ranging from renovations to ground‑up builds. Projects include single and double lane bridges with budgets up to $30M.

You will oversee daily operations, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate with project managers and inspectors. Travel is required Monday through Thursday for out‑of‑town projects; weekends at home.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bridge Foreman on construction projects.
  • Proven ability to lead small crews on bridge projects of varying scope.
  • Experience on projects up to $30M and multiple bridge types.
  • Able to work with union or non-union labor environments.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
  • Willingness to travel Mon–Thu for out-of-town projects.

  • Lead a small crew on bridge construction projects, including renovations and new builds.
  • Coordinate job site logistics and scheduling to meet deadlines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards on site.

  • Travel Monday through Thursday for out‑of‑town projects; return home on weekends.

Bridge Foreman position at Gpac. Location: Travel required (Monday‑Thursday), based in Ohio – mostly Columbus up to Toledo and all of the NE.

A significant portion of our work is with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), and we take pride in delivering high‑quality bridge projects safely, efficiently, and on time.

Position Overview

We're looking for an experienced Bridge Foreman to lead a small crew on a variety of bridge projects ranging from renovations to complete ground‑up builds. Projects typically include single and double lane road bridges with budgets up to $30 million. You'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring work is completed safely and meets quality standards, and coordinating with project managers and inspectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small crew on bridge construction projects (both new builds and renovations)
  • Coordinate job site logistics and scheduling
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with project managers and communicate progress and needs
  • Travel Monday through Thursday for out‑of‑town projects; home most weekends
  • Be available for occasional emergency or off‑hours work when required
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bridge Foreman
  • Proven experience managing small crews on bridge projects
  • Experience working on projects up to $30M
  • Ability to work on a variety of bridge types and construction methods
  • Comfortable with either Union or non‑Union environments
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel during the week (Mon‑Thurs)
