Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Bridges and Structural Engineering Manager to lead a team delivering transportation projects in Ohio. The role emphasizes mentoring, client engagement, and strong project controls across multiple initiatives.

The position supports a hybrid work environment with in-office collaboration on a regular basis and opportunities to drive business development in the Ohio region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field; Master’s preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio or eligible within 90 days.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor a team of structural engineering professionals.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute business development in the region.
• Maintain and enhance reputation with clients, agencies and industry professionals.
• Manage approved scope, budget and schedule on multiple projects.
• Establish project objectives, procedures and performance standards across proposals to final design.
• Identify resources and manage costs, schedule, and compliance with contracts.
• Lead by example with risk, project, and quality management practices.
• Promote collaboration across geographies and business lines.
• Prefer candidates located in Ohio or with strong Ohio community ties.
