Job summary

Horace Mann - Bridges Elementary in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a dedicated Behavior Facilitator for the Bridges Program. This 1.0 FTE position starts immediately and works Monday–Friday with school hours, supporting students with behavior programs and reintegration into classrooms.

You will collaborate with the Behavior Specialist and BCBA, provide individual student support, and help implement evidence-based strategies to promote a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Two years post high school education required.
• At least one year of work experience with interpersonal interaction skills.
• Experience with behavior management and supporting students with behavior disorders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and monitoring student behavior programs under the Behavior Specialist or BCBA guidance.
• Provide individual support to students during referrals and teach essential social skills.
• Model effective behavior management and support staff in applying approaches.
• Help students reach social, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive goals using positive reinforcement.
• Conduct regular check-ins with classrooms to support teachers and students.
