Job summary

BKF is seeking Bridge & Structures Project Managers to lead pursuit, design, and delivery of complex bridge projects in Northern California and the Central Valley. Roles require PE licensure, 12+ years in bridge design and PM, and travel to project sites as needed.

These positions offer a flexible work environment with opportunities to grow within a long-standing civil engineering and surveying firm serving public and private clients across California.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required; M.S. preferred.
• California P.E. license required; 12+ years of bridge/structural design and PM experience.
• Strong knowledge of bridge design codes, seismic principles, and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge and structural projects from pursuit through construction.
• Mentor engineers and manage multidisciplinary teams across regions.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and consultants; ensure compliance with AASHTO LRFD and seismic standards.
• Oversee PS&E packages, technical studies, and project documentation.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and performance metrics for multiple assignments.
