V3 Companies in Woodridge, Illinois seeks a Bridge Structural Project Manager to lead the structural group. You will manage multiple bridge projects from planning through design and delivery, maintaining scope, schedule, and budget while serving as the primary client contact and guiding team members.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, SE license, and 15+ years of bridge/structural PM experience, with familiarity of AASHTO and IDOT standards.

Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited civil/structural engineering degree
• LEED or structural license not required but SE license is required
• 15+ years of bridge and structural design and project management experience
• Experience with IDOT, Illinois Tollway, Chicago DOT, and DOTs/municipal clients preferred
• Strong knowledge of AASHTO, AREMA, IDOT and ISTHA design standards
• Proficient in MicroStation; familiarity with OpenBridge Modeler is a plus

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Bridge Structural Project Manager to join our Structural Group in Woodridge, Illinois. You will play a key role in delivering impactful infrastructure projects for clients including IDOT, Illinois Tollway, Chicago DOT, county DOTs, and local municipalities, with a strong pipeline and continued growth ahead.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Lead and manage bridge and structural projects from planning through design and delivery
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and quality to ensure successful project outcomes
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships
• Perform and review structural design calculations, plans, and specifications
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of project deliverables
• Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and clients to advance project goals
• Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client outreach
• Mentor and develop staff through technical guidance and project involvement
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from ABET Accredited university. Master’s degree with a structural focus is preferred.
• SE license required.
• 15+ years of combined experience in bridge and structural design and project management
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects
• Experience mentoring and developing staff
• Experience in projects for clients such as IDOT, Illinois Tollway, Chicago DOT, County DOT’s and local municipalities
• Strong understanding of AASHTO, AREMA, IDOT and ISTHA design standards
• Proficient in MicroStation. Familiarity with OpenBridge Modeler a plus
• Knowledge of design software (OpenBridge Designer, MDX, LPile, Midas, STAAD)
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
