Job summary

V3 Companies in Woodridge, Illinois seeks a Bridge Structural Project Manager to lead and deliver complex bridge and structural projects for IDOT, Illinois Tollway and municipal clients. This full-time role requires 15+ years in bridge design and PM, SE license, and ABET-accredited Civil/Structural Engineering degree, with MicroStation and OpenBridge experience plus strong client leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of combined experience in bridge and structural design and project management.
• SE license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from ABET Accredited university. Master’s degree with a structural focus is preferred.
• Strong understanding of AASHTO, AREMA, IDOT and ISTHA design standards.
• Proficient in MicroStation. Familiarity with OpenBridge Modeler a plus.
• Knowledge of design software (OpenBridge Designer, MDX, LPile, Midas, STAAD).
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage bridge and structural projects from planning through design and delivery.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and quality to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships.
• Perform and review structural design calculations, plans, and specifications.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of project deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and clients to advance project goals.
• Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client outreach.
• Mentor and develop staff through technical guidance and project involvement.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (ABET Accredited)
