Job summary

Shive-Hattery is seeking a Structural Engineer- Bridge with 4+ years of experience to design transportation structures from concept through completion. You will work with seasoned engineers and technicians and contribute to high-quality public infrastructure projects.

You will lead multidisciplinary collaboration, manage multiple projects, and participate in shop drawing reviews while pursuing your Professional Engineer license. This is a full-time, on-site role in our Madison, WI office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of Structural Engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license in Iowa or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design structural engineering solutions for transportation projects.
• Coordinate work with multi-discipline teams and clients.
• Oversee shop drawing reviews and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Lead bridge and civil structures projects and liaise with stakeholders.
• Engage in project pursuit and support with technical input on designs.
