Job summary

SHIVE-HATTERY INC in Bettendorf, IA is seeking a Structural Engineer- Bridge with 4+ years of experience to influence projects from concept through completion. You’ll collaborate with peers to deliver thoughtful, high-quality transportation structures.

Responsibilities include design of bridges and related structures, review of shop drawings, and leading multi-discipline teams on regional and national public infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license in Iowa or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Design structural engineering projects for transportation
• Lead multi-discipline teams and coordinate with engineers and technicians
• Oversee shop drawing reviews
• Lead bridge and civil structures projects and client interfacing
