Job summary

Shive-Hattery is seeking a Bridge Engineer in Bettendorf, IA to design structural elements for transportation projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and technicians to deliver safe, efficient, and aesthetically informed bridges and culverts.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and a PE license or plan to obtain within 12 months, with experience leading project teams and proficiency in bridge design software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer license required or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience leading project teams and interfacing with clients.
• OpenBridge Modeler, OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design structural engineering for transportation projects of various sizes.
• Coordinate work within multi-discipline teams.
• Oversee shop drawing reviews.
