Job summary

Bentonville Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the Bridge program (One Year Only) at Evening Star Elementary. Under supervision of the principal, you will implement district-approved curriculum, tailor instruction to students with IEP goals, and maintain accurate progress records.

You will collaborate with General Education staff, engage families, and participate in professional development to stay current with educational best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Arkansas State Certification as a special education teacher.
• Experience in special education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer curriculum aligned with district goals and objectives.
• Provide instruction tailored to individual students and IEP goals.
• Assess student learning and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate with General Education teachers.
• Communicate with students, parents, and administration about progress and goals.
• Promote a safe, supportive learning environment and manage pupil behavior.
