Job summary

Arbor Springs Elementary School in Coweta County is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional/Bridge to support the classroom teacher and implement instructional programs during the 183-day calendar.

You will meet and instruct groups and individuals, assist with materials, help maintain a safe learning environment, and support health procedures and data collection as required. This role requires Paraprofessional certification and experience with children.

Qualifications

• Qualify for paraprofessional certificate via associate degree or 90 quarter hours/60 semester hours or GACE.
• Ability to organize and direct groups of children in activities.
• Experience with children, preferably in education.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to classroom teachers in implementing instructional programs.
• Meet and instruct groups and individuals as designated by the teacher.
• Maintain records and assist with data collection; support health and safety procedures as trained.
• Assist with classroom materials preparation and behavior management as required.
