Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead discipline delivery on complex infrastructure projects in Columbia and North Charleston, SC. The role involves directing junior staff, mentoring team members, and coordinating with clients and partners to meet scope, budget and schedule.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in engineering with extensive experience (or a master's/PhD) and has a proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and develop engineering solutions across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required with 8+ years of relevant experience, or
• Master's degree in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience, or
• PhD in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider broad range of engineering solutions.
• Leads discipline delivery on larger engineering projects and coordinates with other disciplines.
• Assists with marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Recruits, hires and develops staff and coordinates timecards and schedules.
