Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with emphasis in structural engineering.
• 7+ years experience on a variety of projects; 15 years preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); SE desirable.
• Experience managing bridge projects and tracking financial performance.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Experience with bridge design software such as OpenBridge, MDX, RISA, MIDAS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design project teams for bridge projects.
• Develop and manage client relationships; engage in marketing and proposals.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate scope and fees.
• Plan budgets, schedules and financial objectives for projects.
• Lead bridge production from concept to construction plan; ensure constructibility.
• Mentor staff engineers and interns.
• Ensure design quality and QA/QC adherence; achieve financial targets.
• Make independent engineering decisions and select cost-effective solutions.
