Job summary

City of New York’s Department of Transportation, Division of Bridges, seeks an Associate Project Manager III to oversee complex bridge projects, perform seismic reviews, and supervise a team. The role involves design review, field visits, and coordination with engineers, contractors, and consultants at 55 Water St, NY 10041, with standard hours 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• At least one year supervising employees in project management for engineering and/or architectural projects.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, urban planning or related field plus one year PM experience.
• High school diploma with five years of project management/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Review complex city-let bridge and retaining wall projects for compliance with standards.
• Perform seismic analysis and load rating calculations.
• Supervise staff; coordinate field inspections and meetings with engineers and contractors.
• Contribute to design reviews and quality assurance during construction.
