Job summary

GM2 Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our CLE team, supporting CTDOT bridge improvement projects across CT. You will work closely with GM2’s program manager and CTDOT personnel to manage scopes, schedules, and costs.

The role requires a civil engineering background with 5+ years in bridge projects, familiarity with CTDOT standards, and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders. PE preferred; EIT required; OSHA-10 certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• 5+ years in bridge design or bridge construction projects.
• PE license preferred; EIT certification minimum; OSHA-10.
• Experience with CTDOT, FHWA/CTDOT project delivery processes.
• Familiar with CTDOT standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in oversight of project scope, schedule, and cost.
• Serve as liaison project engineer on several projects.
• Prepare reports on structural concepts and cost estimates.
• Perform technical analyses and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with internal team and CTDOT personnel.
• Review design submissions by consultants.
• Develop plans, specs and estimates per CTDOT standards.
• Prepare written documents and presentations.
• Present projects to CTDOT, officials, agencies, and the public.
• Conduct site visits across CT.
