Job summary

GM2 Associates, Inc. seeks a motivated civil engineer with a bachelor’s in civil engineering and 4–10 years of relevant experience to join our team in Connecticut.

A PE license is preferred, with CT licensure strongly valued, and the ability to lead and mentor junior staff is desired. Responsibilities include leading roadway and infrastructure design projects, ensuring QA/QC, and using Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 4–10 years of relevant civil/transportation engineering experience.
• CTDOT project experience is highly desirable.
• PE license is required; CT PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support roadway and infrastructure design projects with minimal oversight.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures and project standards are followed.
• Develop designs using Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD.
• Perform drainage design and 3D modeling for road projects.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and CTDOT.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and project documents.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
