Job summary

CDR Maguire Inc. is actively seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor for the Chester County Bridge project in Pennsylvania. The role involves consulting with contractors and engineers on plans, specifications, materials, and safety, and preparing daily reports.

The TCIS will supervise inspectors, ensure contract and safety compliance, and manage records of quantities, costs, and payments. Relevant certifications and ECMS experience are highly valued for immediate placement.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering degree required.
• NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction or equivalent.
• NECEPT Bituminous field certification or equivalent.
• ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician certification or equivalent.
• PennDOT/PTC CDS certification or equivalent.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred.
• ECMS experience is required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers, and job superintendents on plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and safety.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain progress schedules.
• Check shop drawings and quotations for variations; track quantities and costs of materials.
• Supervise a staff of inspectors and ensure compliance with contract documents and safety plans.
