Job summary

CDR Maguire Inc. in the Greater Philadelphia area is seeking Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisors for projects around the region.

The TCIS advises contractors and engineers on plans, specs, materials, equipment, and safety practices. Applicants should hold a BS Civil Engineering, NICET Level 2+ in Transportation/Highway Construction, multiple certifications, and be able to prepare daily reports and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• BS Civil Engineering degree required.
• Certifications required: NICET Level 2+ in Transportation/Highway Construction; NECEPT Bituminous field; ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician; PennDOT/PTC CDS; ECMS; OSHA 10-Hour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Review shop drawings and contractor quotations for variations.
• Prepare and submit daily reports of work performed and maintain progress records.
• Supervise inspectors and travel as required.
