Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Missouri) seeks a seasoned structural engineer to plan and supervise discipline-specific work, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients on multi-discipline projects. Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
Experience with MDOT bridge and structure design and listed software is preferred

Responsibilities

Plan and distribute discipline-specific work while adhering to project schedules and budgets
Assist with marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation
Assist with developing project scopes of work and levels of effort
Oversee completeness and accuracy of project team work within the technical discipline
Guide and mentor the project team toward overall objectives
Coordinate technical project aspects with clients and teaming partners
Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
Produce and modify design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications
Perform research, development, calculations, design, and project delivery
Develop conceptual and detailed designs using current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software
Mentor, train, and review junior engineering staff
Perform other duties as assigned
