Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with a strong background in transportation infrastructure and concrete/steel bridge design to join a major design-build program.

You will work with senior engineers, co-locate at the project office, review RFIs/NCRs, prepare reports, and track deliverables while applying AASHTO codes and advanced bridge software such as Bentley LEAP and OpenBridge Designer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional work experience in transportation infrastructure.
• Experience in the design of concrete and steel bridge structures.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with EI/EIT certification.
• Experience with AASHTO design codes.
• Proficiency with bridge design software including Bentley/LEAP/Open Bridge Designer, MathCAD, Microsoft Office, and MicroStation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey information to technical and non-technical individuals.

Responsibilities
