The Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor of English for the Bridge Program will teach English composition courses for LSU Eunice on the LSU Baton Rouge campus, with possible online sections. The role develops and delivers English course materials for freshman and sophomore students, on campus and online.

The position supports 65% teaching, 20% advising, 10% committee work, and 5% other duties, requiring a Master’s in English or related field with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master's in English or related field, or Master’s in another field plus 18 English hours from a regionally accredited institution.
• PhD in English or related field preferred; college-level English teaching experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Instruct college-level English courses and English support courses (65%).
• Provide office hours and advising (20%).
• Participate in committees and university service (10%).
• Perform other duties as assigned (5%).
