Job summary

Qualifications

• No minimum training or experience required for this classification.
• Requires a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Must obtain a Class B CDL within six months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor in bridge maintenance including concrete placement and bearing replacement.
• Operate dump trucks and power tools such as circular saws, drills, and grinders safely.
• Assist in CDL vehicle operations and traffic control flagging to protect workers and the public.
• Inspect equipment and report needed repairs to supervisor.
• Assist in emergency operations and potential extended or 12-hour shifts.
