Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Four years of progressively responsible work experience in the maintenance field.
• Requires a valid Texas driver’s license.
• Preference will be given to individuals with experience in maintenance and heavy machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct the activities of field maintenance crews within the Bridge Maintenance section.
• Create work orders for all tasks performed by direct reports and review for accuracy; enter data into IMS and track/close orders.
• Monitor and evaluate crew performance daily; review operational policies and procedures; provide training to new employees.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment; drive City vehicle as needed.
