Qualifications

  • 3+ years in bridge inspection, structural assessment or engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of DOT regulations and bridge-management systems.
  • Leadership experience guiding field teams and mentoring junior staff.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a bridge inspection crew performing NBIS, DOT and AASHTO work statewide and mentor junior inspectors.
  • Set inspection schedules, manage budgets and handle client touchpoints for highway, rail and ancillary structures.
  • Use drones, lidar, ultrasonic and other non-destructive tools to identify issues early.
  • Deliver element-level and fracture-critical inspections that keep communities moving safely.
  • Travel up to 50% within South Carolina, with some visits to the Virginia headquarters.
