Job summary

Mid-Atlantic Engineering Group is seeking a Senior Bridge Inspector to lead statewide NBIS, DOT and AASHTO inspections in the new South Carolina practice. You will mentor junior inspectors, set inspection plans, manage budgets, and maintain client touchpoints across highway, rail, and ancillary structures.

From drones to lidar and ultrasonic testing, you’ll apply advanced tools to detect issues early, shaping regional infrastructure while balancing travel within South Carolina and occasional

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in bridge inspection, structural assessment or engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of DOT regulations and bridge-management systems.
  • Leadership experience guiding field teams and mentoring junior staff.
  • Valid driver’s license.
