STV currently seeks a Bridge Inspection Team Leader/Senior Structural Engineer in our Transportation Division, MA office. Sign-on and relocation bonus available.

The role mixes field inspections with office work, offering leadership over a growing inspection team and opportunities to become a subject matter expert. Required qualifications include a structural/civil engineering degree (ABET), 7+ years' bridge inspection experience, and a MA PE license preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 7+ years' bridge inspection experience.
• Massachusetts PE license preferred; out-of-state licenses accepted.
• FHWA-NHI-130055 bridge safety inspection training completed.
• Experience with structural design and/or bridge load ratings using analysis software.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Lead bridge and culvert inspections as Team Leader on varied projects.
• Coordinate with vendors, agencies, clients and the inspection team.
• Plan, perform and document inspections; develop plans and sketches in AutoCAD.
• Deliver comprehensive inspection reports using templates and data collection systems.
• Supervise and mentor inspection staff; support budgets and schedules.
• Prepare design calculations, estimates, specs, and bid documents for rehab/ replacement projects.
• Perform load rating calculations and reports with analysis software.
• Travel within Massachusetts as required.
