Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, seeks a Bridge Inspection Team Leader to supervise NBIS inspections of bridges, culverts, and related structures. You will plan inspections, conduct fieldwork, and prepare detailed reports, while contributing to engineering design within a team.

The role blends field leadership with design responsibilities, requiring strong communication and coordination across disciplines and clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in performing in-service bridge safety inspections and Bridge, Culvert and Retaining Wall Design Experience.
• Qualify as a Bridge Safety Inspection Team Leader as defined by NBIS (23 CFR 650, Subpart C)
• Proof of successfully completing a FHWA approved comprehensive bridge inspection safety course

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and conduct NBIS inspections of bridges and related structures.
• Perform inspections and prepare inspection reports.
• Assist in engineering design using general principles and coordinate with team members.
• Prepare contract plans, specs, estimates, and related documentation.
