Job summary

Fishbeck seeks a Bridge Inspection Lead to drive and expand its national bridge inspection practice. You will lead the team across multiple states, manage client relationships, and oversee project execution with the Transportation group.

The role requires a PE license, 15+ years in bridge inspection, and experience with DOT projects and load ratings. SPRAT is preferred; strong communication and travel capacity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 15+ years in bridge inspection or related DOT/local agency work.
• Experience managing bridge inspection programs and teams.
• Experience with DOT bridge management software.
• Experience performing load ratings in AASHTOWare BrR.
• SPRAT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the bridge inspection practice across multiple states.
• Mentor and guide technical staff.
• Manage contracts with DOTs, counties, and private clients.
• Identify and pursue bridge inspection contracts and opportunities.
• Lead pursuits, proposals, and fee development.
• Develop alliances to provide bridge inspection services.
• Collaborate with other departments on client development.
