Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking an experienced Bridge Inspection Lead to support and grow our nationwide bridge inspection practice across Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Texas. This senior role requires strong technical expertise, client engagement, and contract management with state and local agencies.

You will collaborate with transportation teams to identify opportunities, lead project execution, mentor staff, and develop fees for potential projects, while expanding our presence through strategic alliances

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 15+ years of experience in bridge inspection or related DOT/local agency projects.
• Qualified bridge inspection program manager and team leader experience.
• Experience with DOT bridge management software and load ratings in AASHTOWare BrR.
• SPRAT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow bridge inspection practice across multiple states.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to technical staff.
• Manage contracts with DOTs, counties, locals, and private clients.
• Identify and pursue bridge inspection contracts in current and future locations.
• Lead pursuits, prepare proposals, and develop project fees.
• Develop strategic alliances with industry peers for bridge inspection services.
