Job summary

Fishbeck, a 100% employee-owned firm, seeks a Bridge Inspection Lead to grow our national bridge inspection practice. Based in markets including Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, or Texas, you will oversee client relationships, project execution, and staff development within the Transportation team.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, 15+ years in bridge inspection, and proven leadership. You’ll mentor staff, pursue contracts, and help shape the firm’s long-term goals while traveling to project sites.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of bridge inspection or related DOT/local agency experience.
• PE license is required.
• SPRAT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the bridge inspection practice, including recruiting support.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to technical staff.
• Manage contracts with DOTs, counties, local agencies, private clients, and partners.
• Assist departments with identifying and pursuing bridge inspection contracts in current and future office locations.
• Lead pursuits, prepare proposals, and develop fees for potential projects.
• Develop strategic alliances with industry peers to provide bridge inspection services.
• Collaborate with other departments to support client development and cross-marketing opportunities.
• Contribute to the firm’s long-term business goals and objectives.
