Job summary

PRIME AE Group in Indiana is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our Bridge Inspection Group in Indianapolis with travel across the U.S. You will lead inspections, coordinate field teams, review plans, and ensure safe, compliant execution of field activities.

The role requires a PE license and 5+ years of bridge inspection experience, with certifications in NBIS/FRA. Travel and mentoring of junior staff are key facets of this position.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil/Structural Engineering degree required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 5+ years of bridge inspection experience required.
• FHWA/NHI certifications (130055/130056) and refresher (130053) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge inspection field operations and team supervision.
• Review plans and prior reports to prepare field activities.
• Coordinate field logistics and ensure safety plans are followed.
• Interact with clients and stakeholders; provide engineering judgments.
• Travel across the continental U.S.; multi-day field assignments; possible international travel.
