Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking a Bridge Inspector to join our Bridge Inspection Group in Indiana, with offices in New Albany or Indianapolis, and Jacksonville, FL. You will perform hands-on inspections of bridges and related structures, ensuring compliance with FHWA, state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 2 years of bridge inspection experience; NBIS familiarity a plus.
• Willingness to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine bridge safety inspections per FHWA, NBIS and agency standards.
• Plan inspection schedules and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
• Arrange access equipment and traffic control for safe inspections.
• Document findings with photos and detailed reports.
• Travel overnight as required by project scope.
