Job summary

Jobot is growing its bridge inspection team and offering a strong benefits package for an engineer to support onsite inspections and testing on large-scale INDOT projects.

The role includes data entry, reporting, and eventually leading bridge inspections while coordinating with roadway, environmental, survey, and utility engineers. Preference for candidates with PE or EIT and INDOT guidelines knowledge; travel is required.

Qualifications

• PE or EIT certification required.
• Knowledge of INDOT bridge inspection guidelines is a strong plus.
• Ability to safely traverse uneven terrain.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel for bridge inspections (day and overnight trips as required).
• Willingness to eventually become Indiana Bridge Inspection Team Leader.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onsite bridge inspections, data entry, and bridge inspection reports.
• Manage bridge inspection equipment, schedule bridge inspection personnel etc.
• Eventually lead onsite bridge inspections.
• Work and coordinate with roadway, water, environmental, survey, and utility engineers.
