Job summary

Consor seeks a Junior Engineer on the Structural Assessment team to perform field and office tasks across bridges, dams, tunnels, and more. You will collect measurements, document structural conditions, photograph sites, and record data on a tablet, with occasional access challenges like ladders, drones, or underwater inspection.

Starting salary is around $78,000 with opportunities for growth through training, design work, and advancement in a nationwide engineering network.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Willingness to attend bridge inspection training and stay current with CE requirements.
• Engineering Intern (EI) or EIT certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections of bridges and structures and prepare reports and drawings.
• Assist inspections using testing methods, mechanized access equipment, climbing or diving gear, drones or sonar devices.
• Mobilize to other offices/states as needed to staff inspection teams.
• Perform additional structural assessment duties as required.
