Shelby Erectors, Inc. is seeking experienced Reinforcing Ironworkers / Rodbusters to join our bridge and highway crews across Florida. You will place, tie, and install reinforcing steel on footings, decks, and structural components to build safe, durable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Reinforcing Ironworker, Rodbuster, or similar construction role.
• Experience with rebar installation; bridge and highway experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and rebar plans.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather and at heights.
• NCCER certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Place, tie, and secure reinforcing steel according to project plans and specifications.
• Install rebar for footings, columns, decks, barriers, and other structural components.
• Read and follow construction drawings, rebar plans, and layout instructions.
• Work closely with your foreman and crew to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
• Use hand tools, equipment, and materials properly and safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Identify field issues and work with your crew to find practical solutions.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, productivity, and jobsite safety.
