Job summary

Shelby Erectors, Inc. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Level Reinforcing Ironworker (Rodbuster) to join our field crew on bridge and highway projects in Florida. You’ll tie and place rebar, pre-tie footings, and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule under the foreman’s oversight.

The ideal candidate has rebar experience, at least 6 months in the field, and the ability to travel. We offer competitive hourly pay, training, and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have rebar experience in the field.
• Minimum of 6 months documented field experience.
• We are an E Verify employer; must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel and work overtime (nights/weekends possible).
• Craft certification or relevant certification with experience.
• Access to basic rodbusting tools.

Responsibilities

• Tie and place reinforcing bars, primarily in bridge structures and highway projects.
• Pre-tie and set bridge footings, columns, pier caps, and install bridge decks.
• Work under foreman supervision and maintain safety and on-time project delivery.
