Job summary

H&H is seeking Construction Inspectors (NICET Level II thru IV) for inspection projects on movable and fixed bridges across Northern, Central and Southern New Jersey. The firm is a nationwide infrastructure engineering company with 139+ years of experience and 600+ professionals.

Responsibilities include reading plans, applying math to quantify work, preparing Daily Inspection Reports, and using field inspection equipment.

Qualifications

• Five years of bridge/highway experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong mathematical ability to apply formulas and measure quantities.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• NICET, ACI, SAT and Traffic Control certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and special requirements.
• Apply mathematical formulas and engineering principles to field quantities and payment recommendations.
• Prepare clear Daily Inspection Reports documenting work, manpower, materials, and equipment used; measure quantities.
• Operate field inspection equipment and document quantities and work performed.
• Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
