Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's in civil engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of structural inspection experience.
• NICET II or III certification required.
• Experience on PennDOT/PTC projects is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret plans; capable of climbing structures in adverse conditions.
• Shifts may vary.

Responsibilities

• Complete oversight and inspection of heavy highway bridges and structures.
• Prepare daily documentation and forms as needed.
• Complete measurements and calculations daily.
• Ensure construction adheres to project plans, specifications and provisions.
• Verify proper materials and methods are being used.
