Job summary

Belmont Search is working with a central Connecticut heavy civil contractor to recruit a Project Manager for bridge and roadway programs. You will own scheduling, quantities, cost control, and monthly estimates, directing superintendents and foremen from award through final acceptance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of bridge/heavy civil leadership, public works experience under CTDOT or MassDOT, and a proven track record coordinating subcontracts, change orders, and compliant documentation on

Qualifications

• Five or more years managing bridge or heavy civil construction.
• Public works experience under CTDOT, MassDOT or comparable specifications.

Responsibilities

• Contracts from award through final acceptance.
• Schedule, quantities, cost and the monthly estimate.
• Staged construction and traffic management on active roadway.
• Subcontracts, change orders and claims documentation.
• Liaise with district staff, inspectors and municipal engineers.
• Prepare submittals, prevailing wage records and required documentation.
• Superintendents and foremen on your jobs.
