This role offers leadership over client relationships, business development, and mentoring of engineers, with broad responsibilities across planning, design, rehab, and compliance with design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of bridge engineering experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing complex transportation projects.
• Strong knowledge of bridge design codes and transportation project delivery.
• Proven client management and business development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage bridge engineering staff, project managers, and technical teams.
• Oversee planning, design, rehabilitation, and replacement of bridge structures.
• Serve as project manager and technical lead on complex transportation projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with public and private sector clients.
• Support business development, including proposals and client presentations.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and project managers.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and resources.
• Coordinate with transportation, roadway, structural, geotechnical, and construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with state DOT, AASHTO, and industry design standards.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and grow market presence.
